Description
Marketplaces now read your own website, not only your listing. Gumroad’s 2026 Terms extend the ban on deceptive marketing to the seller’s site, emails and posts; payment processors and ad platforms apply similar wording rules. Most sellers find out from a warning.
This audit finds the wording before they do. I scan every page of your site (up to 50 pages) for income claims, guarantee statements that disagree with your refund page, “worth $X” anchors and hype phrases, then I read each hit myself and write the fix.
What you receive within 3 business days
- A page-by-page report: every flagged sentence, its class and severity, and a rewritten version you can paste.
- The refund-policy check: what your policy page promises versus what your landing pages say, with the exact mismatches.
- A short priority list: what to fix today, what to fix this month, what is fine as it is.
- One follow-up re-scan after you apply the changes, included.
Where this comes from
I built the scanner for my own store after a 2026 Terms update: 324 money and guarantee mentions across the site, 33 of them problems, including fourteen landing pages promising a 30-day refund while the policy page said 14. Fixing it took an afternoon with the right list. You get the list.
